A summer vacation in our holiday cottage in Traben-Trarbach with certainty will not become dull - the variety of possibilities in the Mosel region will take care of that. On this site we have put together a few suggestions for a summer vacation with us, so you can plan your holiday already before you start the trip!

Fast network of footpaths near the Mosel

Experience yourself, with or without guide, the fast network of well-developed foothpaths (e.g., "Panoramawanderweg" = panoramic footpath), which is a part of the Jakobus-pilgrim's way or the travelling route "Moselle". A really nice day trip is the hike to Bernkastel-Kues (approx. 2 hours) where you can strengthen yourself (food wise) and explore the place. In the evening your comfortably will be shipped back with the "Moselperle". Furthermore you can hike to and explore numerous ruins and cloisters in the immediate surrounding.

Sport, action and more

In Traben-Trarbach there is a yacht harbour as well as also a canoe rental company. With your own rented bicycles you can enjoy in the valley, e.g., "Moselradweg" (the Mosel cycle track) or use one of the signposted routes in the surrounding woods as a mountain bike enthusiast. Also signposted Nordic walking tracks lead through and along the vineyards and woods. In the closer surroundings there are possibilities for flights with sale planes, motor planes and parasailing and if you have a more reflective nature you may book a more tranquil, baloon ride. Furthermore, there is a golf course in the city of Hahn (18 km).

Play, fun and adventure - not only for the little ones

Not only for the little ones we recommend in the close surroundings the summer toboggan run, the leisure park Barking, the adventure bath Kröv, the Indoor playground, the jungle village, the big game nature park and the Eifelzoo as well as the skate- and Inlinepark.
